Sensory Tools

We know that physical activities or supports such as light filters, noise reducing headphones, fidget toys, and “wiggle seats” can help students regulate their nervous systems based on their individual learning needs. These sensory tools help decrease anxiety, provide a sense of security and comfort, improve creativity, promote mental and physical relaxation, and even decrease crisis.

PLC designed sensory toolkits and provided them to more than 10,000 classrooms. Please watch the video for implementation of the sensory tools.
